Includes a first meeting, use of my signing table and chairs (if needed), the usual documentation and a quick ceremony to satisfy all the legal requirements of you getting hitched!

Travel fees apply if your ceremony location is more than 50km outside of Hobart. Availability during weekdays is limited to evenings only.

What to expect

First contact

We discuss what you would like for your ceremony and book in a date and time to meet. This is usually arranged over e-mail or the phone.

First Meeting

We fill in the Notice of Intended Marriage together. You will need your evidence of date and place of birth for this. A passport or drivers licence and birth certificate will do! We can meet up face to face or via Teams meeting.

Your wedding day!

I'll arrive at your chosen ceremony location, we say all the legal bits and hey presto! You're married. After your ceremony, I'll go home and submit the documents we completed to the department of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

Official certificate of Marriage

If you've asked for an official certificate of Marriage, often used for name changes, I can order this when I submit your marriage documentation. The department of Births, Deaths and Marriages charge a separate fee of $65.96* (including registered post), which I can include in your invoice.
